Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of CaptionKing at captionking.io. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

CaptionKing transcribes videos you upload and writes social media captions from them. Captions are generated by AI and may contain mistakes; you are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish it.

Your content

• You keep all rights to your videos, transcripts and captions. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service.
• Only upload videos you have the right to use. Do not upload content that is illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• You may use the captions we generate for any purpose, commercial or not.

Accounts and free trial

• One free video per person. We use technical signals to prevent repeated free trials, and may decline a free trial without giving a reason.
• Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Plans and billing

• Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Prices and monthly allowances are shown on the Billing page and the pricing section of our site.
• You can cancel at any time from Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. Switching between plans is prorated.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. Charges appear as CAPTIONKING on your statement.
• Unused allowance does not carry over between months. Refunds are handled case by case; email [email protected].

Fair use

Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, resell access, or use automated tools to exceed your plan. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep CaptionKing running, but it is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Techkeys AI LLC is not liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before a claim.
